Bringing plants into your home will improve air quality, reduce stress, and create a feeling of well-being. In honor of House Plant Appreciation Day, we have paired our favorite plants with their ideal room settings.
ENTRYWAY | FIDDLE LEAF FIG
A fiddle leaf fig, or palm plant, will make a lasting first impression in the space your guests see first. Place your plant on the floor next to a bench or coat rack. Make a statement with prints like Toucan or Intersections Black, or go subtle with Meadow.
DINING ROOM | SUCCULENTS
Succulents are perfect for a centerpiece as they are small and low growing, so they will not overpower the table or block great conversation. Also add these tiny potted plants to the top of a credenza or infuse in a bar cart display carrying your favorite drinks! It’s hearty and one of the most tolerant plants that can absorb excessive amounts of carbon monoxide and filters other toxins from the air such as benzene, xylene, trichloroethylene and formaldehyde. Add it to your nightstand so it’s the first thing you see when you wake up or place it on a dresser beside a dish of jewelry and a candle. Don’t forget a saucer or drip tray for your plants to protect your furniture and floors! BATHROOM | STRING OF PEARLS

LIVING ROOM | SPIDER PLANT
A spider plant is one of the easiest plants to care for and will purify the air in your home. Spider plants trail, so it is best if they are hung, but they also do great on a shelf, side table, or sofa table. Best of all, the spider plant is easy to propagate, so they are great for sharing! Simply cut off a baby and place it in water, and within 6-8 weeks it will be ready to plant.
